about

When I was in college, I used to either play or attend concerts maybe 5 nights a week. No lie. I used to play A LOT. Back then, it was just me, my guitar, and a bunch of broken gear that I didn't really know how to use anyway. Our little town had an amazing music scene, and I was lucky enough to be a part of it. One of my best friends had a band called Treluna, and they toured all over the west coast. I didn't go that route, despite the opportunity, but just about every time they played a hometown gig, I got to open for them. We were each other's biggest fans, and it was a feeling I'll never forget. I'm obviously older now, with a laptop instead of pedals, and a distinct absence of live performance, easily blamed on covid but honestly due to lack of effort until recently. So I've been thinking a lot about those years back when it was so comfortable and easy.

This song is about that.

matt did the musical crap using a mac mini, ableton live, and a guitar for a nice change of pace

hauk heimdallsman once again mastered the thing

matt did the art again because jen is working on the next triptych and it's fucking awesome, so he just threw this together, so she could focus on that. we'll start that series with the next release. trust me it's worth it.
